很多人在感慨“我很无聊”时，喜欢说“I'm boring.”，但是在英语中，“I'm boring”这句话其实是在表达：这个人很无聊，也就是“你很无趣”（对方感觉）。

I got bored.
bored指人（自己感觉）很无聊，出自主观感受的。所以，使用I got bored表达自己感到很无聊。
I got bored of crouching there, so went off to watch TV.
You're dull.
dull有无趣、呆滞的意思，也会使用一件事情很枯燥无趣。dullness则表示沉闷、乏味。
I dare say you're dull at home.
sit around
千万不要认为“sit around”是：坐我周边的意思，sit around意思是坐（闲）着没事干，形容无所事事，放空的状态。
Does that mean I should sit around and do nothing if it all meaningless and purposeless?
